Our people make us who we are
Our people are the lifeblood of our business, they uphold our values and make us who we are. The service and quality we offer, the skills we have, our relationships with our clients and also the communities in which we work is all down to our fantastic team.
2020 has tested us all individually, and collectively, but our dedicated staff are the reason we have been able to continue operating throughout the last few months and have done so without compromising the service and quality that our clients have come to expect from us. Every single one of our team has played a part in keeping us going and we feel incredibly fortunate to have such good people at the forefront, driving everything we do.
The Covid pandemic has impacted on the wellbeing and health of many people, something we have been very conscious of supporting our colleagues around given the different pressures and changes they have all had to adapt to. We are extremely proud of how all of the team have pulled together (virtually speaking of course!) to ensure we have maintained a ‘business as usual’ approach, as much as we have possibly been able to.
Those who have remained working on site have gone above and beyond to deliver outstanding quality, many have diversified and learnt new skills where they might be assisting with more than their usual role. Those who have been working from home have adapted amazingly to their new ‘office’ locations and continued to provide a seamless service to our clients; and for those who were temporarily furloughed they have done so with an incredibly understanding and supportive attitude, and have recommenced work with drive and positivity.

It’s not just us who think our colleagues are amazing, our clients agree! The feedback we have received just reinforces that not only are we still very much here, doing what we always do, we are doing it extremely well.

As you know, today we launched our purpose, the evolved Greencore Way and refreshed branding internally across Greencore. You guys are an extended part of our team and we couldn’t have done this without you – thank you!
Throughout the projects you have delivered on our demands, tight timescales and many, many tweaks and proofs! There is a lot more to come as we move on to our external launch at the end of November and then the big task of embedding and living it in the business; we can’t wait to work with you on this too!
