We are always looking for ways to improve, it is an inherent trait within all our people, whether it be faster turnarounds, higher quality products or superior service, we want to find ways to be the best we can be.
With this in mind we have recently undertaken a significant behind the scenes project to migrate over to a brand new Management Information System (MIS). For us this is a vital system as it controls pretty much everything we do from holding customer data and creating estimates through to the allocation of production tasks and delivery instructions.
The bottom line for this change was to enable us to deliver an even better service for you, our clients. Our new, cloud based, system gives us access to new features that previously we didn’t have, meaning that a number of manual tasks are now automated as well as an improved production workflow and further integration with our other systems.
So what does this mean? We are now able to work smarter, creating time and resource efficiencies so we can begin production quicker, prioritise and fully track work and have streamlined & responsive stock control, together with enhanced data control and reporting. All these things add together to influence and improve all the things we know that you find important – quality, turnarounds and service.
We have offered an online ordering service for some time, where clients can call off stock and create predefined printed materials; our upgraded management information system means those clients will be able to login at any time, night or day, to see all the stock held and order what they need when it’s convenient to them.
The good news is that although phase one is complete, it doesn’t stop there. With additional features already being explored and the ability to scale up as we continue our growth, we are very excited about what the future holds.
