For more than a decade, we’ve collaborated with St Barnabas Hospice, a leading palliative and end-of-life care charity in Lincolnshire. Back in 2022, they approached us with an exciting idea to commemorate the Hospice’s 40th anniversary.
This is how the HeART Trail was born – a vibrant initiative featuring 30 heart sculptures scattered across the county. Designed as a fun and engaging activity, the trail aimed to involve both locals and visitors while raising crucial funds for Hospice care in Lincolnshire.
We gladly took on the task of bringing the HeART Trail to life. Initially, we were entrusted with creating the trail's brand, ensuring it celebrated the overarching themes of love and care whilst providing a platform to onboard sponsors and drive public participation.
Our team led on the design and production of the campaign materials, which were created to not only support the marketing but to also help enhance the experience of the trail, including brochures, scratch-off maps, stickers, selfie boards, banners and heart-shaped foamex boards. We then distributed these materials to St Barnabas Hospice Charity Shops across the county.
Running until September 4, 2023, the HeART Trail welcomed participants at no cost, showcasing over 30 captivating sculptures crafted by different artists. We were delighted to witness the resounding success of the trail. Post-event, the HeARTs were displayed at the Lincoln Museum from September 11 to 28. A subsequent auction took place, raising an incredible £150,000 to further support local hospice care across Lincolnshire.
We are proud to have played a role in contributing to the success of this heartwarming initiative. Our collaboration with St Barnabas Hospice for the HeART Trail not only celebrated a milestone anniversary, but also demonstrated the impactful fusion of art, community engagement, and philanthropy.
